CoreProvider::Add Resource Group


Adds a new resource group to the Resource Manager Database. Optionally adds the new group to a candidate set and assigns it a rank. Used by Microsoft. Provisioning Framework (MPF).

Description of the resource group.

groupName Description:
Name of the resource group.

rank Description:
Integer that specifies the rank to assign to the resource group when it is added to the candidate set. If not specified, the default value is null.

resourceGroup Description:
Encapsulates data needed to describe a resource group. Group name must be unique within the set of resource groups.

targetSet Description:
Name of the candidate set to add the resource group to.
